Megamind, Hollywood Movie (2010)

Review :  

After super-villain Megamind (Ferrell) kills his good-guy nemesis, Metro Man (Pitt), he becomes bored since there is no one left to fight. He creates a new foe, Titan (Hill), who, instead of using his powers for good, sets out to destroy the world, positioning Megamind to save the day for the first time in his life.

Description: Five tales of terror are presented. The first deals with a demented old man returning from the grave to get the Father's Day cake his murdering daughter never gave him. The second is about a not-too-bright farmer discovering a meteor that turns everything into plant-life. The third is about a vengeful husband burying his wife and her lover up to their necks on the beach. The fourth is about a creature that resides in a crate under the steps of a college. The final story is about an ultra-rich businessman who gets his comeuppance from cockroaches.

Thomas & Friends: Misty Island Rescue, Hollywood Movie (2010)

Description: The film starts out with the Sir Topham Hatt's engines going about their work proudly as usual, while Thomas is at a coastal construction site alongside him. Rocky the rail crane and Captain, a new motor-propelled lifeboat, are resting nearby when Harold the Helicopter swoops in with parcels and passengers from a just-finished rescue mission of saving a mountain hiker. Sir Topham Hatt congratulates him on a job well done, when Harold notes the lack of space for a proper landing. Sir Topham Hatt tells him him of the new Sodor Search and Rescue Center that is being built around them and shows him the new helipad being built specifically for him, then goes on to tell Rocky of a new shed being built for him, and tells Captain of a new pier and boathouse being built for him as well. Harold, Rocky and Captain are very excited to hear the news of their new home. Thomas inquires of the Search and Rescue building itself, and is told that it will be in the middle of the three other stations. Finally, Sir Topham Hatt mentions that the building will be made of Jobi wood, a very strong, deep red wood from far away, before sending Thomas to take the hiker to Knapford Station and assist Percy with his jobs at Brendam Docks.
